A major focus for SciTech in 2005 is on the processes and programmes required to take innovative and groundbreaking ideas through to commercialisation.

We are now running a new series of masterclasses on Proof of Concept, with the first event scheduled to take place at the University of Warwick Conference Centre on the 4th May. Previous delegates found these to be very informative and content rich and valued the practical advice given to help people administer these programmes. The first national symposium on Proof of Concept took place on the 17th & 18th March, and brought together experts in managing successful commercialisation schemes and detailed knowledge of Proof of Concept funds and programmes. The feedback was extremely positive (read what people said here) and full reports on the event will follow shortly.
